AW/SS26 GANDER: As the Birds Fly North, So Do We

As the Birds Fly North, So Do We
AW/SS26 GANDER Wear
There’s something quite funny about calling this an autumn/winter or spring/summer collection, because the whole point is that it sits somewhere in between.
Not too warm.
Not too cool.
Not too much.
Not too little.
Just right for that weird middle ground.
And to be honest, that feels pretty fitting for where GANDER is at right now too.
Because as the birds fly north, so do we.
This collection is a reflection of that. Of movement. Of expansion. Of not having every last detail perfectly figured out, but moving anyway.
With GANDER DACH on the way, alongside plans for GANDER EMEA and GANDER USA, this drop had to lean into spring in the north while still feeling true to where we come from.
Because we are African geese.
And African geese do not migrate quietly.
Built for the in-between
This is a collection for that “not freezing, not boiling” zone.
The kind of pieces you can wear when the weather is in-between, the plan is in-between, or life itself feels a little in-between.
Which, realistically, is most of the time.
So AW/SS26 GANDER Wear is exactly that:
Androgynous.
Ambiguous.
Easy to wear.
Easy to style.
Made to move.
Not everything needs to fit neatly into a box.
And neither do you.
Not swallows. Geese.
Swallows look like they know exactly where they’re going.
Very graceful. Very organised. Very neat. Good for them.
They’ve got direction. A route. A plan. They know when to leave, where to land, and probably have their little swallow admin sorted too.
That’s not us.
We’re geese.
A bit louder. A bit more aggressive. Slightly less polished. More likely to be figuring it out in real time and still somehow making it work.
Swallows migrate with a plan.
Geese kind of just back themselves.
As do we.
We are winging it a bit.
But we are winging it properly.
And because of that, this collection had to sit right in the middle. Something that works if it’s warm. Something that works if it’s cool. Something that works if you’re dressed up, underdressed, travelling, going out, staying in, or still trying to figure out what the plan even is.
Because that’s real life.
And that feels very GANDERY
Not too set on being one thing. Not too polished. Not too precious. Just solid enough to work in most situations and still look good doing it.
Because if you wait until everything makes perfect sense, you usually end up never moving at all.
Made for where we’re going
This collection leans into spring because part of the brand is doing the same.
As the birds fly north, so do we.
We’re still rooted in Africa, but we’re also building for a bigger picture now. Different climates. Different settings. Different people. Same attitude.
That’s what this drop is about.
Clothes that can move.
Clothes that can travel.
Clothes that still work when the season, setting, or direction is not fully fixed yet.
Still us. Just heading further.
This is version 1
This collection is also not being treated like some one-and-done drop where that’s it and we never touch it again.
This is V1.0.
The first version. The starting point.
The base layer of the collection.
Pieces, colours, ideas and variations can be added as time goes on, as the range develops, and as we see what feels right to build into it. So this is not the final form of AW/SS26 GANDER Wear — it’s the first proper version of it.
Which, again, feels quite on brand.
Start moving. Refine as you go. Add as it makes sense.
That’s how a lot of real things are built.
And that is very much how geese would probably do it too.
You dont like it? Good. Its not for you then.
That is also part of it.
GANDER was never meant to feel overly polished or too serious.
It should feel good. Look good. Mean something. But still have a bit of humour to it.
So yes, the energy is basically:
What if geese had an international rollout plan and better outfits?
That is more or less the collection.
Coming soon
AW/SS26 GANDER Wear is coming soon to www.ganderpeptides.com.
This is Version 1.0. More will be added to the collection over time.
For the geese heading north.
For the ones still figuring it out.
For the ones winging it.
For the ones moving anyway.
We do not migrate quietly.
We migrate properly and arrive properly dressed.
